Laurie Moniz,
Perinatal Counsellor
With over 15 years specializing in perinatal mental health, Laurie combines professional expertise with personal understanding as a mother of three and grandmother. Her warm, practical approach helps parents navigate the mental health challenges of pregnancy and early parenthood.
When Pregnancy And Early Parenthood Feel Overwhelming.
Many parents struggle with exhaustion, sleeplessness, incessant worry, and feeling disconnected from their partner. Many parents struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or feeling lost during this major life transition. These challenges are all too common, and the support of a specialist makes all the difference.

Before private practice, Laurie worked across Victoria’s mental health landscape—on mental health teams, in non-profit community agenecies, and in the school system — gaining a direct understanding of family systems and support networks.
